For me it’s an extremely powerful tool and accessible format for creative storytelling.

Kristina Malynoehka (35), Maricel Diaz (49), Vera Engeh (40) and Wiktoria Skotniczna (25) respectively come from Ukraine, the Philippines, Cameroon and Poland. They have been learning Dutch for a year and a half, at CVO MIRAS in Waregem and Kortrijk. With the pilot project 'Mijn Stem' or ‘My Coice’, they learned creative storytelling techniques and how to make a podcast as part of a lesson module taught by myself. Each student wrote a story that later became a podcast. On Thursday 27 November, they presented their creation in Cultuurlab Kortrijk.

‘Buurtverhalen’ or ‘Neighborhood stories’ is a social project that resulted in a podcast series. I talked with numerous people in Kortrijk about all kinds of topics, from science to society and art.
The podcasts are to be listened through a nostalgic art piece, made by (Crostplay) for this project.
Pilot Podcast series: “The people we meet”

In 2024 I got myself a small audio recorder and 2 microphones.
Because I truly wanted to start recording and creating my own podcasts, I started a one episode series called "The people we meet”. The goal was simple humanizing people, humanizing stories and sharing experiences.
This first (and only episode) was recorded during my travels in Eswatini with Mark Lucey. I do trust I’ll continue this format in the future.

Because I truly wanted to start recording and creating my own podcasts, I started a one episode series called "Over Denken” or “Over Thinking”. A search for information about our brain with all its capacities, curiosities and negativities.
I only recorded one episode because I started over thinking a second. I do trust I’ll continue this format in the future.
